THUNK: VAXXED AND WAXXED

To celebrate all of THUNK receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, and subsequently waxing their entire bodies, the group was able to host two live performances for the first time in over a year. With features such as backyard venues and 90 degree weather, these intimate shows were nothing short of pure joy to be back on stage, in-person, once again: a cappella the way it should be.

THUNK History VI

Though the location changed from La Macchina Café, history seemed to repeat itself with THUNK History VI. In March 2020, THUNK pulled off a historical feat putting on the last in person concert of the 2020 school year.

THUNK linked up with F15 once again in November 2019 for this spooky concert. Though Halloween had already passed, two a cappella groups in one night was truly the audience's worst nightmare!

THUNK XXV: 25th Anniversary Show

In June 2018, THUNK invited its 25 years of alumni back to campus. Seven original members from 1993 came, including THUNK's founder. It may have been THUNK's silver anniversary, but the show was nothing short of gold.

THUNK Goes Bowling / F15 Goes Through a Phase

Nov. 2017 was the second time in three years THUNK and Freshman Fifteen teamed up for a fall show. This time, THUNK went bowling (well, wore the signature F15 green bowling shirts) and F15 went "through a phase" (wore THUNK's hot black). Yes, for some of the show, the wardrobe was messed up... but the music was just right.

THUNK Flunks Winter Quarter

THUNK had a tough winter quarter 2017. The members spent so much time working on their music that they all failed their classes. So, to celebrate their inevitably ruined futures, they put on a show in The Great Room — and it was a grade A good time.

THUNKTOBERFEST 2016

THUNK's fall show to benefit The Cape Town Project 2K16 was a celebration of performance, featuring, alongside THUNK, student comedy group "Mee-Ow" and student dance ensemble "Graffiti Dancers." On a day like Thunktoberfest, we'll drink to that.

Freshman Fifteen Presents: THUNKSGIVING

In Nov. 2015, THUNK and Freshman Fifteen joined forces to wish Northwestern a happy "THUNKsgiving." That year, THUNK members cited the opportunity to wear those green F15 shirts as what they were most thunkful for.

THUNK History (2015)

This one will go down in, well, history. The spring show in 2015 was the first THUNK History of many, because, of course, History repeats itself. This show was held in the black box in Annie May Swift, a precursor to the following year at La Mach.
